Spiritual Development

Our
Approach

At CGA, spiritual wellness is at the core of everything we do. We believe that true well-being begins with a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life rooted in Biblical teachings. Our spiritual wellness programs are designed to nurture the hearts, minds, and souls of children from Pre-K through 12th grade, guiding them on a transformative journey of faith, hope, and love.

Pre-K -
5th Grade

For our youngest students in Pre-K through elementary grades, spiritual wellness starts with introducing them to the love of Christ in a fun and age-appropriate way.  Through Bible stories, worship songs, and prayer, children learn the foundational truths of God’s Word.  The emphasis is on building a loving relationship with Jesus and fostering values such as kindness, forgiveness, and gratitude.  Teachers and staff work together to model Christ-like behavior, creating an environment where students feel safe and loved, helping them understand the importance of living out their faith in their everyday lives.

Middle

School

As students progress into middle school, our spiritual wellness programs deepen in both content and application.  Bible study becomes a more integral part of the curriculum, and students are encouraged to explore the Scriptures for themselves.  Lessons focus on building a stronger personal faith, learning how to apply Biblical principles in their decisions and relationships, and understanding the importance of prayer and worship.  We provide opportunities for students to serve others, emphasizing the importance of living out one’s faith through action, both within the school community and in the wider world.  This sense of purpose and responsibility helps guide students toward becoming compassionate leaders and faithful stewards of God’s gifts.

High
School

In high school, spiritual wellness programs take on a more reflective and leadership-oriented approach.  Students are challenged to dive deeper into Biblical teachings and their own faith journeys.  They are encouraged to ask tough questions, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop their understanding of God’s Word and its relevance to their lives.  The program includes regular chapel services, small group studies, and one-on-one mentorship, where students can explore their relationship with Christ in a personal and intimate way.  We also offer mission trips, community service projects, and internships that allow students to live out their faith in tangible ways, impacting their local and global communities.

Christ the Redeemer

The CGA Way

Throughout all grade levels, our spiritual wellness programs are rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our staff and faculty are not just educators; they are spiritual mentors, committed to guiding students in their faith and supporting their emotional and spiritual growth. With prayer as a cornerstone, we encourage students to turn to God for guidance, comfort, and strength in all aspects of their lives. Through a combination of worship, Biblical study, service, and mentorship, we strive to cultivate a spiritually vibrant community that empowers each child to grow in their faith, understand their divine purpose, and live out the love of Christ in every aspect of their lives.
